This site is operated by and for the use of Creekside residents in learning about and discussing the installation and use of renewable energy and sustainable residential practices.
We started in this endeavor during the summer of 2009 after attempting to gain approval of the Creekside HOA to install a 3000 watt photovoltaic solar system. We found that there was a lot of misunderstanding about solar installations and Oregon laws pertaining to solar installations. We felt there is a need for a source of education and discussion of residential solar installations, so we created this website/blog.
Hopefully this site will provide an aid for discussion of these issues and a source of education on the subject of renewable energy.
